CALL FOR PAPERS

Authors are invited to submit papers or posters presenting research on and application of Pedestrian and Evacuation Dynamics with a focus on listed topics. Related themes are also welcome. A seperate poster session is also planned, where students are invited to present their results or thesises.

Topics are:

	Human behaviour in emergency and non-emergency situations, focused on psychology, influence of design, wayfinding, etc.
	Modeling of pedestrian dynamics
	Animation of pedestrian movement
	Evacuation simulation in different surroundings, like buildings, ships, trains, tunnels, etc.
	Experiments on pedestrian and evacuation dynamics
	Modeling and simulation of animal motion
	etc...

Electronic submission of abstracts created by MS-Word, OpenOffice or LaTeX is preferred. Please submit a PDF or PS-file additionally, to ensure nothing of your abstract will be lost. There are no restrictions or detailed formatting instructions for abstract submission.

Papers and posters accepted for publication will be printed in the conference proceedings published by Springer-Verlag, Berlin.

	Final papers due: April 30, 2008
