PROCEEDINGS

The Proceedings of PED2008 will be published by Springer.

All contributors to the conference, presenting an invited, contributed talk or a poster, are invited to submit a paper for the proceedings.

LENGTH OF CONTRIBUTIONS

	Invited talks: 16 pages
	Contributed talks: 12 pages
	Posters: 6 pages

DEADLINE

The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2008. This deadline is strict since we want to get the book published before the end the year. Since we need time for processing the contribution and Springer requires 4 months this does not leave any room for deadline extensions!

ADDRESS

Please send your contributions to <proceedings@ped2008.com> Your submission should contain all relevant source files and a pdf of your contribution. If you use the Word template, please also submit the sources for any figures that you use in your contribution.

Please ZIP your files, thus we ensure, that we do not forget to save any files you send.

Name your file with your Poster or Talk number (which you received in the notification mail) and your name, e.g. Poster_99_Jane_Doe, or Talk_77_John_Doe where 99 or 77 is your number and Jane_Doe or John_Doe is your name.

TEMPLATES

We prefer to receive papers using Latex. The template can be downloaded <here>.

Those who are not familiar with Latex can download a Word template <here>.

FORMAT

In order to have a homogenious presentation, please follow the indications below (or given in the templates). Thank you in advance for your help!

	Names of authors : please give the full names (first name and last name).
	Multiple addresses : they will be labeled with numbers.
	A summary will be provided at the beginning of the paper (typically between 5 and 20 lines).
	Bibliographic references will be labeled with numbers and numbered in the order of appearance in the text.
	For references published in journals, the title of the paper will not be given.
	Classical abbreviations will be used for the journal names.
	Some examples will be given in the templates for books, proceedings, journals, etc.
	Color figures are possible. However, they should be used only if colors carry some extra information.
	Be aware that the editors may introduce some minor modifications to your paper without notice. In particular, some figures may be turned into black and white if color is not necessary.
